Every Saturday morning my dad takes turns to take each of us kids out to eat for breakfast to spend some quality time with us; to tell us our strength's and weaknesses and how we can overcome them.
My sister and I do it together, and this morning my dad had a coupon for "IHOP"...which is a very very rare occasion that we go there because it's so expensive.
Any way's, we took our orders, and I read my dad the "Tidbits" newspaper that's out every Saturday. I read him the 20 questions, and he guessed...all off them right. (except for 1)
Any way's, as we were doing this, and realized how blessed I am to have a father that cares so much about me. It's days like today that I am thankful!!!
So, after my sister and I got back and our family went for a 12 mile bike ride!!! ...(to lose all the weight we gained from eating at IHOP!...just kidding)
I'm more of the jogging/walking type of girl, but lately I've loved bike riding. Our family found this great trail that goes through the town, and around some lakes/ponds. There's an occasional beaver dam there too!
Exercising is very good for you! There are all kinds of exercises that you can do to help out your body...along with eating right. So, lately I've been doing jogging, walking, biking, and yes jump roping. It's actually gotten quiet fun! I carry along my iPod, which has a pedometer on it as well, and I walk/jog.
I would love to hear if you do exercises and what kind of exercises every does...besides I need more ideas!

Taking a walk in the country is always refreshing!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I can quite classify it as excercising, since we mainly just take pictures at the lake. :)
I started doing The Shred about 12 days ago. It's a cardio/strength training exercise program that you do for 20 minutes a day. Brady and I also enjoy taking walks in the evening. :)
