When We Cry For Help

You know those days that just don't go as planned? I had that happen this past weekend. I did grocery shopping as usual. I made an extra stop to a clothing store to spend a gift card that I had gotten for Christmas. The day was going normal, until the end of my shopping trip. I was worn out.
Saturday's for my husband and I are fairly relaxed most of the time. We sleep in, and have a late breakfast. We've been trying to do devotions before we begin our day. My husband stays home to get work done for other people who'd like logo's and such on their website. My husband is great at creating things like that. While my husband stays home to get work done, I go out shopping for the day. It's about 18 minutes to the nearest exit where I get most of the shopping done.
By the end of the day, I was so relieved to sit down in the car and drive home. I used to love shopping!... I still do, but I just get worn out at the end of the day, and I don't want to stand or walk anymore... just rest.
When I got home, my husband and I were going to have our weekly "Mac N Cheese Saturday" for dinner. He saw me struggling to put the groceries away because I had been standing/walking too much that day for me. He ordered me to sit down so that he can make dinner. While I wanted so much to sit and rest, I couldn't... there was too much to do! But, I honestly couldn't. I had to rest, and let my husband help.
Our relationship with God is like that sometimes, isn't it?... God wants to help, but we want to do it all on our own. God says rest, and we say, "God, I got this!"
Why do you think that is? Because we're sinners? Because we're prideful? Yes to both. It's hard to let God do it sometimes. Most of the time, when we come to God in full surrender and cry out to God for help, it's usually when we're at our lowest of low's. It's usually when we've tried everything else, and we're just tired.
Have you ever heard someone say, "All that's left to do is pray?" That irritates me every time, because we shouldn't go to God as our last resort. We should go to Him as our first resort. For some reason, as sinners, we tend to go to God only when we've done everything else.
So, rest in the arms of the Savior. Rest in the God almighty who's Sovereign on His throne, and who's got it all in his hands! :)

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." ~Proverbs 3:5-6 (Do we trust the Lord enough? Do we need to let go, and let God do what He has planned?1)

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." ~Matthew 11:28-30

God's Will

As I write this, I'm in Russia for the first Homeschool Conference!
DURING the time That I've Been here, I've Been Thinking and Praying A lot!
It has Been super neat to see God work in this, for ALL of His glory!!! :)
When I first WAS Asked to Come to Russia, I WAS super excited! ... Still am! ;) HOWEVER, WAS A Their Process of trusting God That I HAD to Experience. When I first HAD Applied for my Passport, I Told That WAS with expedited shipping, it Should be here within A Week in A Half. Two weeks later, it WAS still not here. I WAS worried That Would not it be here in time, and I Went over the "What if's" in my head. It WAS DURING this Process That my parents Constantly reminded me That if God wanted me to go, That He'd make it happen ... in His timing! One thing .. . That my heart WAS not Willing to Let God have. Once I received my passport, I HAD to apply for A Visa to go to Russia. You have to be Invited, but I just Applied for A 29 day tourist Visa, since we ' d only be there for 2 weeks. I HAD to go over to the Davidson's house to fill out That, Because Their WAS so many Questions That I did not know the answer to.
When I sent in the Passport, Visa to receive A passport, I WAS Told That it'd be here within A Week in A Half. It WAS here in one Week! :) After That, it WAS Official That I Would be going to Russia!!!
however the the the, WAS not at the Process All Easy to Trust in God! God Knew the Entire time, What the Outcome WAS going to be, and yet I WAS worried That this Opportunity WAS going to Pass up.
  • 1 Peter 4:11-12

If anyone Speaks, Should he do it as one speaking the very Words of God. Serves If anyone, he Should do it with the strength God Provides, so in That All May be things God through Jesus Christ Praised. To HIM be the glory and the power for Ever and Ever. Amen. Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you.
  • 1 Chronicles 16:11

Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.
  • Exodus 15:2

The LORD is my strength and my song; he has Become my Salvation. He is my God, and I Will Praise HIM, my Father's God, and I Will Exalt HIM. I saw this the Other Day, and thought I'd Post That it! Enjoy! Me: God, can I ask you A question? God: Sure! Me: Why did You Let so much stuff happen to me Today? God: What do you Mean? Me: Well, I woke up late, took my car forever to start. At lunch they made my sandwich wrong and I had to wait. On my way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call. And to top it all off, when I got home I just wanted to soak my feet in my new foot massager and relax, but it wouldn't work! Nothing went right today! Why did you do That? God: Let me ... See the Death angel WAS at your Bed this morning and I had to send one of My angels to Battle HIM for your Life. I let you sleep through that. I didn't let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if you were on the road. The first person who made your sandwich today was sick and I didn't want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn't afford to miss work. Your phone Went Dead Because the person Calling That WAS going to Give false Witness About What you Said That on call, I did not even Talk to you so you Let Them Would be Covered. Oh, and Foot Massager That, it HAD A shortage That was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I did not think you wanted to be in the Dark. Me: I'm sorry God!
God: Do not be sorry, just learn to Trust Me in ALL things, the good and the bad.
    Me: I Will Trust You!
god : And do not Doubt That my plan for your Day is always better than your plan.
Me: I Will not God. And Let me just Tell you God, Thank You for everything Today!
God: You're welcome Child! It was just another day being your God and I love looking after My children! :) May we learn to Trust God in All Circumstances!

Trust God...even when it's hard!

Trust God… even when it’s hard!
We talk about trusting God all the time… but do we really mean it?
Recently, our family had watched a movie for our family night. During this movie, a daughter of the family dies. They go over the “what ifs” in life, and try to figure out if they, “Would have” done this or that, then she would have lived. But one of the points the brother makes in the movie was great. He said that no matter where his sister would have been… whether in China, Africa, or the United States, it was her time to go home to be with our Lord.
I started thinking about what Christian Comedian- Ken Davis said… Imagine Jesus walks into your house and says, “Come with me”… you’re making excuses, “But Father, I just paid off my house and my car. I have a great life! My wife just had another child… but… but… but.”
The truth is… this is what Christ is already doing to us, but we’re not willing to trust him. Yes, we trust Him when things are great… but what about when things get bad?
When the 9/11 happened, people asked the question of “why?” Why wasn't God here? The truth is, He was! He was in so many ways! Did you know that there were more trains that stopped working, lights that went haywire, people that overslept, and alarms that didn't go off more that morning that any other morning? God was working! But will we choose to trust Him, even if the answer that we want to be yes is a no?
Will we trust God, not just in the good, but also in the bad? Will we trust Him if a family/friend of ours dies? Will we trust Him when the test results come back positive for Cancer? Will we trust Him when we get in a car accident, only to find out that they had to amputate both legs? Will you trust God when your life is falling apart, and you don't feel like you belong? These are so many questions to ask yourself! No, it's not going to be easy, but that's what God is there for! He'll hold us, but will we choose to trust Him?!
Here are a couple verses that I thought would be helpful in the times when we have doubts or don't understand. Please take a moment to read them! :)

"...Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,
Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’"
~Isaiah 41:10~

"
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. And to him who lacks might He increases power. And vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary."
~Isaiah 40:28-31~

"
But now, thus says the Lord, your Creator, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel,
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!
2
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you. "For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior;..."
