My answers to the questions:

~ What is your favorite food? Pizza, Taco's, and Burger's! :) 
~ Do you like chocolate?  If so do you like dark, milk or white chocolate better? I LOVE chocolate! I prefer milk chocolate, but I love white chocolate as well. 
~ Do you prefer to cook / bake food yourself or have someone else do it? I prefer to cook/bake food myself, but love it when people want to help me. :) 
~ What is your favorite food to cook / bake? I love to bake, so I love baking cookies, cakes, really any types of desserts. :) 
~ What are your 5 favorite desserts? Hmm... tough one. Anything chocolate! ;) I love cookies, cakes, muffins/cupcakes, puddings. 
~ Cake or pie? Cake! 
~ Hamburgers or hot dogs? Depends on the Hamburger, but I'll go for a hamburger any day!... you can ask my husband that! ;)
~ Nuts or cheese? Cheese.
~ Soup or salad? Depends on the soup and Salad. Probably soup. 
~ What is the one food that your whole family likes? In Colorado, my whole family loved Taco's. Here in Ohio, my husband and I love Chicken Salad melts. :)

Pay It Forward and Liebster Award

     We've all heard it happening, and seen video's of people's lives sometimes changed by the "Pay-It-Forward" thing that goes around.
     I never thought that I'd ever be one of those people that someone paid for my drink/food..etc... This last week, I had some returns and exchanges to make. I also had to get my Driver's License and such changed, since getting married, and moving. So, it was a day that I wasn't really looking forward to, but I knew had to be done. I thought to myself, "I'll stop by Starbucks on the way down to run my errands, and I'll feel refreshed having a coffee in hand while running errands." I pulled through the Drive-Thru, and ordered my usual, "Iced Venti Vanilla Latte (light on the ice) coffee." The man told me to pull to the window, but didn't give me my total what I owed. I pulled up to the window, and was preparing to pay, when he opened the window, handed me my coffee, and said, "The lady in front of you just paid for your coffee, so you're all good to go!" :) You can imagine my delightful surprise! I was so astonished, that I just said, "Really?! Wow! Thank you!" And with that, I pulled away. I pulled over into a parking spot to take in what just happened. And then I thought, "I should've paid for the person's coffee behind me! Oh well, maybe next time."
     I never thought that something like that would've ever happened to me. It's something that I always saw that happened to other people, and that I always thought would be a good idea if I did it to someone.
     Have you ever had something happen to you that moved you in some way? It could be maybe someone offering to watch your kids or cook your dinners. A neighbor who mowed your lawn to surprise you, a child coming up to you, and handing you a flower, just because. :)

1 What is the meaning behind your blog’s name? You can refer to my "What is a Daughter of Destiny" page for that meaning... it's long. ;) 
2. What’s the first thing you’d do if you got 5 feet of snow? When I was younger, I would've gone out to play in it, but now, probably sit with some music and a book, and snuggle on the couch with some hot coffee. ;)
3. What’s your favorite way to style your hair? My hairs pretty stubborn... so, probably just let it down. It's thick and Curly, so, it has a lot to it. ;)
4. Would you rather wear a skirt or pants? It depends on the Weather Outside. Usually skirts though. I wear pants usually when I have a lot of running around to do, or when it's cold outside. ;)
5. How often do you wear makeup? Probably about every day. 
6. What’s your blogs main focus? To encourage and Inspire other like-minded believers in Christ. 
7. What’s the last book of the Bible that you read? Psalms
8. Which do you like better, apple or pumpkin pie? Hmm... tough one... Pumpkin Pie if there's lots of Whip Cream, but usually Apple pie taste better. ;)
9. How many siblings do you have? 5... 4 brothers, and 1 sister. :) 
10. How many things have you made in the past week? As far as cooking and baking, too many things to count... maybe 15?

Leibster Award

I have been awarded the Leibster Award again by Alyssa over at http://bitsnspurs.blogspot.com/ her private blog awarded me, but she wanted me to go ahead and do her Bits and Spurts blog. Go check out her blog!.
Facts about me: 
1. I absolutely LOVE the heat! :)
2. I have naturally Curly hair.. and love it!
3. I went to Russia for a Conference a couple months ago.
4. I love to square dance!!!
5. I do the grilling at the house, as well as trim the lawn. ;)
 Most people are surprised by that... not sure why... 
6. We have a beautiful and stubborn Great Pyrenees dog! And, we don't care if her hair is on our clothes, or in our food... ;) I know, I know, it's gross at times, but we just take the hair off if we're bothered by it.
7. People say I'm a server.
8. I teach Piano and I'm studying to become a Doula.
9. I'm a clean-fanatic... which can get to be a pain at times when there's people in the house who don't like to pick up after themselves. :)
10. I love listening to speakers, pastors, and audio's.

1. Brown or Black? Depends... if it has to do with clothes or shoes, than black. ;)

2. Willow or pine trees? Willow! Definitely Willow!

3. Sweet or Spicy? Sweet! ;)

4. When you read, do you feel like you are in the story? I don't normally read fictional books, but when I do, than yes I feel like I'm in the story.

5. What is your favorite thing to eat? Chocolate! ... does that count? ;) Pizza and Taco's...

6. What is your favorite thing to do? Run Errands, play with my siblings, read the Bible, help my mom out... the list can go on, so there's not really "one" favorite thing.

7. Which do you think are cuter as babies: Lambs or Goats? Lamb!

8. Would you rather be in the country or the city? City!

9. What is your favorite flower? Hmm... the Colorado Columbine or a Rose.

10. Do you bird watch? No... not unless we're on a hike or something.

Beautiful Blog Award

It seems I am being showered with blogger awards this month!  Thanks to Bethany Carson at: http://todaylibertyordeath.blogspot.com/ for the Beautiful Blog Award.  Here are my answers to Bethany's questions:

1. If you could have an expenses-paid vacation to anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? Hmm... probably Ireland, because I love their accents!!! :)

2. What would you like to accomplish by the end of 2014? I'd like to become a certified Labor and Post-Pardom Doula.. we'll see! ;) Memorizing chapters of the Bible.

3.  What are a few of your favorite quotes? "A person is a person, no matter how small!""I believe with all my heart that standing up for America, means standing up for the God who has blessed our land."~Ronald Reagan 

4.  What Bible character do you relate to the most, and why? Hmm... tough one! ;) Probably Esther... because sometimes I feel like I have to hide who I am, because it will "offend" someone... if that makes any sense. :)

5.  What is your dream car? I always tell my brothers, anything that drives smoothly, and that's an automatic! ;) I don't know one kind of car from another... so, anything really! ;)

                              6.  Are you a morning person or night owl? Definitely a Night Owl!!! 

8.  Do you have a favorite plant or flower? I love Roses, and Colorado Columbines! :)

1. Where did you come up with your blog name? hmm... I wanted to name the blog that had to do with being my dad's daughter, and God's daughter. And I knew that I was destined to be God's daughter (Romans 8:29-30, " For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.") So, I put together "Daughter of Destiny". :)

2. Why did you create your blog? Because I love to write! :) And my mom told me that she thought I'd be a good idea. ;)

3. What is your favorite Bible verse? James 1:2-4

4. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? Ireland! :)

5. What is your favorite book? Tough one! ;) Besides the Bible, probably any Max Lucado books! :)

1. What are 3 of your favorite books- besides the Bible, of course? Joyfully at Home by Jasmine Baucham, Preparing to be a helpmeet by Debi Pearl, and You'll get through this by Max Lucado.
2. What is your favorite thing to bake? Anything Chocolate!!! :)
3. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would it be? hmm.. maybe Ireland? Hawaii sounds fun!
4. If you have to live somewhere besides the U.S., where would it be and why? Probably Ireland, because I love their accent!!! :)
5. Name 5 of your favorite movies. Courageous, Fireproof, Facing the Giants, Hinds Feet on High Places, and from what I've seen of the previews, "God's not Dead". ;)
6. Do you have any pets? If so, what kinds are they? Yes! 1 dog, 1 rabbit, and 7 chickens. We have a Great Pyrenees, and I'm not sure what breed the rest of the animals are. ;)
